Goan Sorak Curry



Ingredients :

6 Red Chillies
1/2 Coconut Ground
3 Garlic cloves
1/2 Teaspoon Cumin seeds
2 Teaspoons Coriander seeds
5 Pepper corns
1/2 Teaspoon turmeric powder
1 Green Chilly Slit
1 Onion
1 Small tomato



Method :
 
  • Blend Red Chillies, Ground Coconut, Garlic, Cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, Pepper corns and turmeric powder in a grinder
  • Add a little water to the grinder
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add finely chopped onions to the pan and saute till it becomes brown
  • Add the tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are soft
  • Now add the ground masala
  • add water to the pan
  • Add a pinch of saltfor taste
  • Slit one chilly and add it to the curry
  • Add tamarind water
  • Stir and bring to a boil, and your Sorak is ready

You can enjoy your sorak with steemed rice and fried fish
