Avocado Face Mask for Dry Skin :
If you have dry skin then avocados make for a wonderful face mask to moisturize your facial skin cells. Avocados are loaded with natural oils and potassium, high in protein and contain Vitamins A, B, D, E and K.
Avocado Face Mask for Dry Skin Recipe :
- 1/2 very ripe, soft avocado
- 1/4 cup honey
- Mash the avocado to a smooth paste in a bowl, then add in honey and mix well.
- Apply this Avocado paste to the skin and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse face with a cool washcloth.
Aloe vera gel is a well known moisturizer for dry skin. It hydrates and soften dry dull skin. This mask hydrates and softens dry skin. Aloe vera gel is known for its healing properties which makes this a great mask for dry skin. The avocado and honey uses in this face mask are loaded with antioxidants.
Aloe Vera and Avocado Mask for Dry Skin Recipe :
- 2 tbsp aloe vera gel
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 tbsp lightly heated honey
- 1 teaspoon almond oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp dry oatmeal
Mash the Avocado into a smooth paste.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Wash your face clean and apply the paste all over your face and allow it to sit for about 15 minutes.
Rinse your face with lukewarm water.
Brown Sugar Scrub for the Face :
Brown sugar is a wonderful natural exfoliant that works for all skin types. It exfoliates the dead and dry skin from the face. Brown sugar is also known to retain moisture so it works well for people with dry skin as well.
- 1/2 cup Manuka honey or plain honey.
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive or coconut oil
- 1 drop of your favorite essential oil
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
Apply this mixture on your skin and massage itg in a circular motion to ensure you are removing dead skin from your face.
Rinse with warm water
Homemade Milk Mask for Dry Skin :
Milk works wonders in moisturizing dry skin. lactic acid present in milk,naturally helps remove the dead skin from your face.
- 1 tsp powdered milk
- 1 tbsp runny honey
- 1 tsp aloe vera gel
- 2 drops essential oil
Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl.
Apply this mix all over your face
Let the mask sit on your face for 15 minutes
Wash off the mask with lukewarm water.
Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil Moisturizer :
Cocoa Butter helps the skin retain its natural elasticity and moisture.
- 1/4 cup extra virgin coconut oil
- 3/4 cup cocoa butter
- 2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- A few drops of essential oil
Skin Brightening Turmeric Face Mask :
Turmeric face mask brightens the skin, leaving skin looking glowy. Curcumin is the main ingredient of turmeric which works to suppress excess melanin production caused by sunlight keeping acne at bay.
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
- 2 tablespoons flour or cornstarch
- a few drops of runny honey
- add 2 tbsp coconut oil, sweet almond oil or olive oil
Mix the flour and turmeric together. Once combined, stir in the honey.
Add the oil slowly and stir until a paste is formed. Add more for more creaminess.
Apply mask to face and neck.
Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes.
Using a warm, wet washcloth that you don't mind staining rinse off the mask
Dark Chocolate Face Mask for Dry Skin
Dark chocolate are excellent for moisturizing the skin, so this dark chocolate mask is the perfect remedy for dry skin. Mix water and cocoa powder well together to form a mixture
Add 1/2 a teaspoon of brown sugar
Add 1/2 a teaspoon of coconut oil

Gently exfoliate using your fingertips in circular motion

- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Mix all ingredients together and form a smooth paste

Leave it there for 10 minutes
Rinse your face with cold water
